Schools participating in the Healthy School Recognized Campus (HSRC) initiative host Texas A&M AgriLife Extension programs for their students, staff, and parents/guardians. Schools that are recognized as a Healthy School Recognized Campus demonstrate a commitment to supporting and encouraging health throughout the life course.

What it takes to be a Healthy School Recognized Campus

Connect with your county Extension agent & apply with your school.

Host Walk Across Texas at your school.

Host at least 1 other elementary or middle school program.

Host at least 1 adult program at your school.

Submit proof of program completion to your county Extension agent & celebrate!
